Lactobacillus reuteri is a species of probiotic bacteria.  L. reuteri apparently provides multiple health benefits: lowering LDL-C, CRP & fibrinogen, increasing LDL particle size, Vitamin D, oxytocin & testosterone, reducing H. pylori levels and promoting female urinary tract and vaginal health.

There are multiple strains of l. reuteri and the individual health benefits have not been tested in all of them but usually in one specific one. So we can not be sure that all benefits might be associated with all strains. This is probably due to the fact that individual manufacturers test their proprietary (and assumably patented strain) for a specific application that they go after as a possible application for their product. E.g., Lactobacillus reuteri 30242 for heart health.
