Psyllium seed husks are portions of the seeds of the plant Plantago Psyllium, a native of India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. They are hygroscopic, which allows them to expand. Psyllium seed husks are indigestible and are a very good source of soluble dietary fiber. They have a favorable effect on the gut biome and cholesterol profile.

Also known as: Ispaghula, Isabgol, Psyllium
